Challenge

  • Manage, perform, and support contracting actions for programs that span across the multiple geographical regions and all over the world.
  • Develop and implement an acquisition strategy for multi-billion dollar OCONUS Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, and task orders.
  • Communicate and coordinate with DOD Commanding Generals, and Chief of Staffs, and regional offices.

Solution

  • Provide knowledgeable subject matter expertise to assist in:
    • Program/Project Management
      • Provide Program and Project Management support following PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) best practices.
      • Develop and deploy new cloud-based business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management platforms (CRM) for wireless technology system.
      • Develop and test the incentive auction suite of software.
    • Acquisition Management Support
      • Acquisition strategy and development.
      • Requirements gathering and acquisition documentation to include but not limited to IGCE, market research, SOW/PWS, QASP, etc.

Results

  • Develop and implement an integrated training and knowledge management plan to improve government contracting professionals’ development, efficiency, and program support capabilities.
  • Implementation of integrated process teams early in the contracting requirements phase to reduce acquisition lead-time.
  • Provide contracting subject matter expert on an ongoing basis to immediately resolve contracting questions and issues in order to allow the contracting professionals to work with increased efficiency.
  • Provide contracting policy, cost/price analysis, and program office support for all acquisition related issues.
